Being the parent you want to be

doesn't have to be a struggle.

“My daughter is 3 and I want to start writing with her, I also need help with her recognizing numbers and letters…”

“I am looking for different and interesting ways to teach him how to count, learn the alphabet and eventually start reading.”

It’s a big enough struggle to parent, let alone try to be creative enough to come up with an activity and then have the supplies on hand to actually do them with your little kids, only to have them engaged for 30 seconds.

I feel that overwhelm, too.

I want to spend quality time with my kids. I want to be their first teacher. I want to make memories for them to look back on their childhood. This is a primary parenting goal of mine.

Simple activities are key!

By creating simple activities, it doesn’t matter how long your child is engaged, or if they’re focused and pay attention. You’ll find that having these easy to set up activities to do at any moment will make it easier to be the parent you want to be.

Become your child's first and favorite teacher!

without expecting your child to sit, cooperate and hold the pencil properly!

Do simple activities and have a blast!

“When I heard about this challenge I was very excited. Easy projects with supplies I have on hand really has helped me feel confident. Pinterest just depresses me because I don’t feel like I am creative enough, but your activities make me realize that I don’t have to do anything too involved. I can do simple activities with my boys and they have a blast. Thanks for giving me confidence in myself.”

Hi! I'm Jamie!

I’m a stay at home mom of 3 active boys. I’ll be the one challenging you to be the parent you’ve always wanted to be.

Who is this play challenge for?

Parents of 3-5 year olds to do at home! Some older or younger kids will be able to join in too, just be ready to ask in our private activity group, called The Huddle, for help adapting it to your child’s age — the group is a goldmine for information like that!

Why our challenges makes you a better parent from another parent just like you:

I took up this challenge as I felt I was failing spending quality time with my 3 year old as I’m trying to juggle her demands and that of my 7 month old baby. This challenge has certainly helped me reset my mind and approach to try and find a balance between my kids. The activities were easy to set up and fun. I sure see us repeating these activities again. Josephine
